JB Reibstein was most recently a Vice President of Acquisitions with Resource Real Estate, a publicly traded alternative asset investment firm based in Center City Philadelphia, where he was responsible for executing the firm’s multifamily real estate acquisition strategy across the East coast, Midwest, and Southeast regions of the United States. Prior to that, he was the Vice President of Northeast Acquisitions with Priderock Capital Partners, a Florida-based multifamily investment company, responsible for executing acquisitions in on the East Coast of the United States. Prior to that, he was an Acquisitions Associate with Center Square Investment Management, formerly known as Urdang Capital Management, where he structured joint-venture equity real estate investments with local operating partners. Mr. Reibstein started his career at Accenture, PLC, and was based in New York City. Mr. Reibstein holds J.D. and M.B.A. degrees from Temple University in Philadelphia, and a B.S. in Finance, with honors, from The George Washington University in Washington, D.C.
Phyl joined the Galman Group in the spring of 2016 as a part-time Human Resources Assistant and recently accepted a promotion to become the full-time Human Resources Manager. He graduated from Indiana University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Resource Management and earned his certification as a Sig Sigma Yellow Belt which focuses on process improvement. At graduation, he was the sole recipient of the Carol Mills Young Inspiration Award for his academic achievements, community service involvement, and leadership within Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity Inc.
Jerald manages the physical plant of The Galman Group’s properties. He supervises new construction, renovation projects, property maintenance and materials purchasing. He manages property personnel, on-site maintenance crews and contracted services. His proficiency in budget-conscious property enhancement is invaluable in reaching ownership goals. A graduate of the University of Miami, Jerry, along with his wife Donna are active in many local charities.
Samuel M. Goldstein has held the position of the Chief Financial Officer of The Galman Group for over twenty seven years. Formerly with a national accounting firm, he has been a member of The Galman Group’s senior management team since 1988. Sam is a bottom-line oriented CPA with a master’s degree in taxation as well as a master’s degree in real estate. Sam’s ability to analyze an asset and lower operation costs through economies of scale makes him a key figure in creating value in investments. He has a bachelor’s degree from Temple University, a master’s from Villanova University (Taxation) and a master’s from New York University (Real Estate). Mr. Goldstein served on the Board of a publically traded bank from 2007 through 2011. Sam currently serves on the Pennsylvania Apartment Association Board, is a past President of Federation Housing, Inc., a non-profit that provides housing for low income seniors, and currently serves on its Board. He also serves on the Madlyn and Leonard Abramson Center for Jewish Life Board. Additionally, he is past Chairman of the Real Estate Committee of the Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia.
Brian joined The Galman Group in 1995, after earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration at Philadelphia University. While attending college he worked for an investment bank located in Center City Philadelphia. His focus on acquisitions and management of over one million square feet of commercial real estate piqued his interest in real estate as a career. Upon joining The Galman Group, Brian has learned through hands-on experience every aspect of the apartment business. He has worked his way up at The Galman Group, starting as a Leasing Agent and then moving up to Assistant Property Manager, Property Manager, Regional Property Manager, and now Director of Property Management. It is a direct result of this multi-faceted experience that Brian is able to recognize and realize each unique Galman Property’s full potential. Brian is a director on the board of the Pennsylvania Apartment Association (PAA) and was named PAA Owner Member of the Year for 2008. Brian holds the Certified Apartment Manager accreditation from the National Apartment Association. Brian is also active in the wounded warrior project, Operation Homefront.
Jason M. Bailey is the newest member of The Galman Group. Mr. Bailey’s prior work experience includes nine years of accounting experience with National Home Builder specializing in residential and commercial real estate. In addition to his accounting skills, Jason acquired hands-on experience in the field as an assistant project manager in Operations.
Prior to joining the home building and real estate industry, Mr. Bailey worked at a local public accounting firm preparing taxes for individuals, partnerships, and corporations. Additionally, he provided attestation engagements including audits, reviews, and compilations.
Mr. Bailey is a CPA and cum laude graduate of Drexel University.
Danielle Giordano began her property management career in 1999 with Korman Communities following a 10 year career in retail management. In 2002 she joined The Galman Group as property manager and was promoted to regional property manager in 2007. Her professional success can be attributed, in part, to her ability to develop strong management teams and to her commitment to fostering a collaborative working environment.
Danielle holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in communications with a concentration in advertising from Temple University. She has also successfully completed all coursework required to take the Pennsylvania Real Estate exam and is actively pursuing licensure.
Danielle believes strongly in the importance of community and public service. She previously served on the development board for the fashion marketing program at the Art Institute of Philadelphia. Currently, she serves on the board of the East Norriton Township Planning Commission, a position that allows her to take an active role in shaping the growth and development of the community where she lives.
Lori Samuels joined to The Galman Group in Spring of 2008 as the Regional Property Manager for the Delaware Region. She comes to us with over 12 years experience in the Property Management field. She started her career as a leasing consultant, then Property Manager with WNY Inc. and a District Manager for Capano Management. Lori comes with a professional skill in management that brings excellence, a strong sense of pride and teamwork.
She received her NALP in 1998, and is currently on the Delaware Safety Committee. She is also active in the community girl’s softball league.
Don has been in the property management business for 26 years. Through the years he has supervised several apartment communities while earning several certifications relating to property maintenance. He joined The Galman Group in 2002 as a Maintenance Supervisor and has advanced to Director of Maintenance. Don now oversees the maintenance department for over 25 properties. His focus provides our residents with the best quality maintenance available and a place where our residents are proud to call home. Don also holds the seat as Chairperson for the Safety Committee. He has served proudly in the US. Army and enjoys helping with several charities.
Jody joined the Galman Group in 1992 with a strong background in the electrical field. He was a Maintenance Supervisor at the North East Philadelphia properties and was also a Maintenance Supervisor at Valley Forge Towers North. He now oversees the day to day operation of maintenance for fifteen of the Galman Group properties.
Jody consistently delivers a high quality product and has received the respect of residents with whom he has serviced. He has trained his peers with the same qualities in which he feels every resident deserves to receive, an excellent quality service.
Stephanie Flynn has been in the property management industry for over 14 years starting her career at an international apartment management company in 1999. She joined The Galman Group in 2001 as a property manager. She gained valuable experience serving as the property manager at each of our three Pennsylvania high rises. She was promoted in 2013 to regional property manager.
Stephanie has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Management from The Pennsylvania State University. She has completed all required courses to obtain a Pennsylvania Real Estate license. She received her CAM in 2007.
Arnold E. Galman, President, who founded the company in 1980, is a true entrepreneur. His original goals – to start his own portfolio with strong cash flow – have guided the company. Arnie’s strengths are his ability to identify properties with a strong upside potential, his diligent analysis of every potential investment, his goal-oriented attitude and his unflagging perseverance. He is a graduate of Pennsylvania State University and attended Delaware Law School. He is active with Golden Cradle and the Philadelphia Apartment Association.
