Donald R. Sayers Sr.

Regional Maintenance Manager for Delaware

Don has been in the property management business for 44 years. Through the years he has supervised several apartment communities while earning several certifications relating to property maintenance. He joined The Galman Group in 2002 as a Maintenance Supervisor and has advanced to Regional Maintenance Manager overseeing the maintenance department for over 2,750 units in Delaware. His focus provides our residents with the best quality maintenance available and a place where our residents are proud to call home. Don also holds the seat as Chairperson for the Safety Committee. He has served proudly in the US. Army and enjoys helping with several charities.

Pat Miller

Pat is a seasoned professional with over 20 years of experience in the accounting industry, having worked in both public and private sectors. His diverse background includes working with publicly traded companies, private-equity portfolio companies, and privately held organizations. Since transitioning from public accounting, Pat has taken on leadership roles, most recently serving as Senior Vice President of Finance for a privately held service organization. In this capacity, he played a crucial role in designing and implementing a strategic growth plan and was the finance lead during the organization’s acquisition by a private equity group. Pat’s professional focus is on team development, organizational excellence, and driving growth.

Barry Shikhvarg

Barry brings over 17 years of expertise in acquisitions, real estate development, capital raising, and asset management, with a track record of transactions and projects totaling approximately $1 billion. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance and Construction Management from Drexel University.

Barry has recently rejoined The Galman Group, where he previously served as Vice President of Acquisitions from 2015 to 2018. During his initial tenure, he was instrumental in acquiring key properties, including Sophia’s Place, The Edge at Yardley, and Gail Court. Before his return, Barry was the Managing Director at a boutique development company focused on urban infill multifamily projects in Philadelphia, his hometown. He also led acquisitions for a national real estate firm, where he established a $1.2 billion project pipeline across several states, including Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Indiana, Utah, and Washington.

Over the course of his career, Barry has developed over 1,000 luxury apartments locally, valued at $300 million, and has led acquisitions of more than 1,500 units, totaling over $250 million.

Jason Bailey

President

Mr. Bailey’s prior work experience includes nine years of accounting experience with National Home Builder specializing in residential and commercial real estate. In addition to his accounting skills, Jason acquired hands-on experience in the field as an assistant project manager in Operations. Prior to joining the home building and real estate industry, Mr. Bailey worked at a local public accounting firm preparing taxes for individuals, partnerships, and corporations. Additionally, he provided attestation engagements including audits, reviews, and compilations. Jason is a CPA, cum laude graduate of Drexel University, and received a Master of Science in Real Estate from NYU graduating magna cum laude.

Liz Pizzo

Director of Marketing

Liz joined The Galman Group in October 2023, bringing with her a wealth of experience in property management, spanning over 15 years. As the Director of Marketing, she plays a pivotal role in developing and executing marketing strategies, enhancing brand presence and occupancy, and making strides towards elevating resident satisfaction.

Liz lives in Hainesport, NJ with her husband and their furry companions, Ollie and Frankie. When she’s not immersed in the world of property management, she’s an avid traveler and a dedicated explorer of diverse cultures and gastronomy. Her passion for travel has taken her to Thailand, Greece and most recently Italy, where she indulges in the joy of discovering new flavors and experiences, one delicious meal at a time.

Nick Bogdonowicz

Regional Property Manager

Nick joined The Galman Group in January 2024 with over 12 years of experience in property management. He oversees the operations of 13 communities throughout the Philadelphia region. Known for a people-first mentality, Nick focuses on strategic ways to increase net operating income while maintaining a high standard of service for residents.

Nick earned his bachelor’s degree in business from SUNY Plattsburgh which has laid a strong foundation for his career in property management. He lives in Manayunk with his dog Brady and spends his free time being active and supporting the Philly sports teams.

Kimberlee Nacarelli

Regional Property Manager

Kimberlee joined The Galman Group in January of 2023 as Regional Property Manager. Her portfolio consists of 17 apartment communities in Philadelphia, Delaware, Berks and Montgomery Counties. Kimberlee has over 20 years of residential property management experience and earned her credentials as a Certified Apartment Manager (CAM), and Certified Apartment Portfolio Supervisor from the Pennsylvania Apartment Association. Her experience is diverse, including experience with garden style, midrise and high-rise assets and in acquisitions and dispositions.

Ramona Sharpe

Human Resource Director

Ramona Sharpe is a Philadelphia native with over 20 years of Human Resource experience. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Organizational Leadership and a master’s in public policy administration from Chestnut Hill College. Ramona joined The Galman Group in May of 2023 as the Director of Human Resources and is looking forward to an exciting and productive relationship with the company.

Scott Stolbach

Regional Property Manager

Scott Stolbach has served in the property management industry for 16 years with extensive experience in managing high rise, multi-family and single-family assets in Florida and the Philadelphia area. Along with his many years in the industry, Scott has a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Florida Atlantic University (FAU).

Pat Nolan

Manager of Construction Services

Pat joined the Galman Group in 2002 with a strong background in plumbing, electrical and construction. With his extensive experience, Pat oversees 4 properties, our renovations program as well as the installation of large heating and cooling systems.

Edwin Lucus

Regional Property Manager

Edwin Lucus has been a member of The Galman Group since 2019 where he started as a property manager of several Galman communities. He is a graduate of Wesley College where he received his bachelor’s in business administration, and he is a licensed realtor in Delaware. Ed has built a career throughout Delaware in Property Management with over 19 years of experience and is an enthusiastic member of the community while also playing a large role in the Delaware Apartment Association. Ed was promoted to Regional Property Manager in 2022 being responsible for 3200 units.

Nick Richel

Director of Property Management

Nick Richel has served in the property management industry for 18 years with extensive experience in managing Class A, B and C assets, including apartment style, conventional, midrise and high-rise properties. During his career Nick has gained valuable experience of multiple acquisitions, renovations and repositioning of properties throughout the East Coast and Mid –West Regions.

He joins the Galman Group in 2019, as the Regional Property Manager for both Delaware and Pennsylvania region responsible for our 3300 units. Nick is a proud veteran of the United States Navy.

Brian Paule

President

Brian joined The Galman Group in 1995, after earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration at Philadelphia University. While attending college he worked for an investment bank located in Center City Philadelphia. His focus on acquisitions and management of over one million square feet of commercial real estate piqued his interest in real estate as a career. Upon joining The Galman Group, Brian has learned through hands-on experience every aspect of the apartment business. He has worked his way up at The Galman Group, starting as a Leasing Agent and then moving up to Assistant Property Manager, Property Manager, Regional Property Manager, Director of Property Management, Chief Operations Officer and now President. It is a direct result of this multi-faceted experience that Brian is able to recognize and realize each unique Galman Property’s full potential. Brian is a director on the board of the Pennsylvania Apartment Association (PAA) and was named PAA Owner Member of the Year for 2008. Brian holds the Certified Apartment Manager accreditation from the National Apartment Association. Brian is also active in the wounded warrior project, Operation Homefront.

Samuel M. Goldstein

Board Member

Before becoming President, Mr. Goldstein had held the position of the Chief Financial Officer of The Galman Group for over twenty seven years. Formerly with a national accounting firm, he has been a member of The Galman Group’s senior management team since 1988. Sam is a bottom-line oriented CPA with a master’s degree in taxation as well as a master’s degree in real estate. Sam’s ability to analyze an asset and lower operation costs through economies of scale makes him a key figure in creating value in investments. He has a bachelor’s degree from Temple University, a master’s from Villanova University (Taxation) and a master’s from New York University (Real Estate). Mr. Goldstein served on the Board of a publically traded bank from 2007 through 2011. Sam currently serves on the Pennsylvania Apartment Association Board, is a past President of Federation Housing, Inc., a non-profit that provides housing for low income seniors, and currently serves on its Board. He also serves on the Madlyn and Leonard Abramson Center for Jewish Life Board. Additionally, he is past Chairman of the Real Estate Committee of the Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia.

Joseph A. Eisenstein

Executive Vice President

Joseph Eisenstein has over two decades of professional experience and knowledge in real estate within the tri-state area. Joseph has received training not only from the experiences in his career but also from attending several Colleges and Universities with Real Estate and Technical programs. These schools include; Kingsborough Community College majoring in Architectural planning and Drawing, New York Technical College, majoring in Engineering and HVAC Design, and lastly New York University where he majored in Real Estate.

Joseph Eisenstein has managed several billion dollars worth of developments in all asset classes. Projects range from ground-up construction, conversions of office to multi-family, manufacturing plants to flex industrial parks and high-end residences to the re-construction of some of the most prestigious offices and retail.

In 2005, Joseph Eisenstein had the opportunity to join SSH Management LLC as a Partner. While at SSH Real Estate he managed the largest historic restoration project in the country in 2012. As a result of the successful completion of this project he consecutively won two BOMA Toby Award for Best Historical Property in Philadelphia. Joseph brings his diverse background in real estate to The Galman Group.

Joseph, his wife Aren and family reside in Bucks County and are active in many charities such as The PKD Foundation, Susan G Komen Foundation, Chai Lifeline, Make a Difference Children’s Foundation Nigeria.

Phylip Crafton

Human Resources Manager

Phyl joined the Galman Group in the spring of 2016 as a part-time Human Resources Assistant and recently accepted a promotion to become the full-time Human Resources Manager. He graduated from Indiana University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Resource Management and earned his certification as a Sig Sigma Yellow Belt which focuses on process improvement. At graduation, he was the sole recipient of the Carol Mills Young Inspiration Award for his academic achievements, community service involvement, and leadership within Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity Inc.

Stephanie Flynn

Regional Property Manager

Stephanie Flynn has been in the property management industry for over 14 years starting her career at an international apartment management company in 1999. She joined The Galman Group in 2001 as a property manager. She gained valuable experience serving as the property manager at each of our three Pennsylvania high rises. She was promoted in 2013 to regional property manager.

Stephanie has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Management from The Pennsylvania State University. She has completed all required courses to obtain a Pennsylvania Real Estate license. She received her CAM in 2007.

Danielle Giordano

Regional Property Manager

Danielle Giordano began her property management career in 1999 with Korman Communities following a 10 year career in retail management. In 2002 she joined The Galman Group as property manager and was promoted to regional property manager in 2007. Her professional success can be attributed, in part, to her ability to develop strong management teams and to her commitment to fostering a collaborative working environment.

Danielle holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in communications with a concentration in advertising from Temple University. She has also successfully completed all coursework required to take the Pennsylvania Real Estate exam and is actively pursuing licensure.

Danielle believes strongly in the importance of community and public service. She previously served on the development board for the fashion marketing program at the Art Institute of Philadelphia. Currently, she serves on the board of the East Norriton Township Planning Commission, a position that allows her to take an active role in shaping the growth and development of the community where she lives.

Jerald Slipakoff

Vice Chairman

Jerald manages the physical plant of The Galman Group’s properties. He supervises new construction, renovation projects, property maintenance and materials purchasing. He manages property personnel, on-site maintenance crews and contracted services. His proficiency in budget-conscious property enhancement is invaluable in reaching ownership goals. A graduate of the University of Miami, Jerry, along with his wife Donna are active in many local charities.

Arnold Galman

Chairman of the Board

Arnold E. Galman, who founded the company in 1980, is a true entrepreneur. His original goals – to start his own portfolio with strong cash flow – have guided the company. Arnie’s strengths are his ability to identify properties with a strong upside potential, his diligent analysis of every potential investment, his goal-oriented attitude and his unflagging perseverance. He is a graduate of Pennsylvania State University and attended Delaware Law School. He is active with Golden Cradle and the Philadelphia Apartment Association.
