Two days of FREE live musical performances on two stages!

The Ambler Music Fest kicks off with the swinging sounds of 2012 Grammy winner, Vince Giordano and the Nighthawks on Friday, June 14th.

On Saturday the Secret Service Band gets the party rolling and will feature Tommy Conwell and The Trammps to close the Festival.

Welcome to the Ambler Arts & Music Festival, 2013! You’re invited to share in a day filled with art, music, food and shopping in downtown Ambler.

Butler Avenue will be closed to allow for artists to fill the streets and for you to enjoy the day in the arts and crafts marketplace. The festival will feature a wonderful array of exhibitors including, fine art, acrylics, watercolor, sculpture, photography, pottery, fiber, wood work, jewelry and more!

In honor of the 150th anniversary of the Civil War, the Mercer Museum in charming Doylestown, Pa. hosts Turning Points, an interactive exhibit bringing to life Civil War history.

The exhibit includes more than 300 items from the Civil War era. Check out letters, portraits, audio recordings and more from local soldiers and civilians.

The Civil War programming also features live music, parties and lectures on days throughout the run of the exhibit.

The first lecture in the Turning Points lecture series is on Sunday, May 5 and focuses on the subject of the military draft. The series continue as the exhibit goes on, and holds a few events each month. Lecture topics change with each event.

Also mark Sunday, July 28 on your calendar. The museum will host a Genealogy Workshop where guests will learn to use city, state and federal records to track down their ancestors.

The Philadelphia Flower Show

Where: The Pennsylvania Convention Center

Philadelphia hosts the oldest and largest indoor flower show in the world. This year’s theme is Hawaii. The show will wow visitors with a tropical experience that is part digital technology and part natural beauty. Sugar House Casino will sponsor a “man cave,” where sports will be projected and table games played.
